The president of a Tampa headhunting firm is going to chase around the world on CBS' "Amazing Race 13."
Tina Hunter Stewart Greene, 48, who runs the recruiting firm BioPharmMed, will team with her estranged husband, former NFL player Ken Greene.
According to CBS, the couple are looking to reconnect on the reality competition, which returns to prime time Sept. 28. The couple were not available for comment Tuesday.
"They've been separated and living on different coasts for several months and are ready to put their marriage back together," says a news release from the network.
Ken Greene, 52, played for the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Diego Chargers. He was an assistant coach at Washington State University until May and is working as a homebuilder.
The CBS profile of him says that he "thinks Tina is too controlling and should relax a bit more, but anticipates the race will help them learn to appreciate their differences."
The 11 teams will travel more than 30,000 miles, spanning five continents in 23 days, beginning at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This round features a variety of firsts, including a real-life water world whose inhabitants live upon a floating city; visits to Cambodia and Kazakhstan; and one team's unprecedented mistake that keeps them from the finish line.
