Art show/party kicks off Tampa Am week.

TAMPA - It's a busy week at the Skatepark of Tampa, so naturally they're planning to hit the bottle first.
No, it ain't like that.
"99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" is a unique art exhibit that kick-starts Tampa Am week, when skaters from around the globe descend on SPoT for what's arguably the world's premier amateur skateboarding competition.
The 15th annual Tampa Am runs Friday through Sunday, but while the kiddies aren't competing for street cred and the hopes of getting a professional contract, they'll be attending Tampa Am-related events galore around town, including an art show, a film screening, multiple parties and a Les Savy Fav concert Friday at Czar.
But the first event is "99 Bottles," Thursday's official welcome party/art exhibit. SPoT invited artists, riders and photographers from throughout the skateboarding community to create a one-of-a-kind beer labels for the show.
Bottle sales will benefit SPoT's charity program, Boards for Bros, dedicated to donating skateboards to needy children.
"We wanted to sell the bottles for a good cause," said Barak Wiser, buyer for SPoT. "Boards for Bros really needs the extra funds to complete more of the unfinished boards we give out every year."
