Warren Sapp continues to show that big men can move, as the 300-pounder impressed judges with an intense paso doble Monday on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
Sapp, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle, and model-host Brooke Burke each netted a score of 24 out of 30 points from judges.
Burke and professional partner Derek Hough have been in the top spot after each of the dance competition's three performances.
Sapp and partner Kym Johnson donned a "Matrix" motif for their toreador dance, complete with black leather overcoats and slow-motion shoulder roles.
"For a guy of your size, the way you move your feet is fabulous," judge Bruno Tonioli told Sapp.
Singer Toni Braxton's rumba earned her second place with 23 points, followed by beach volleyball pro Misty May-Treanor, soap star Susan Lucci and young actor Cody Linley with 21. Singer Lance Bass scored a 20, and track-and-field star Maurice Greene had 19.
Disappointing scores went to celebrity Kim Kardashian (17), chef Rocco DiSpirito (16) and actress Cloris Leachman (15).
Viewers' votes will be combined with judges scores to determine which couple will be eliminated tonight.
"You keep calling; I'll keep dancing," Sapp said after his score was revealed.
