100 Acre Wood to hold 'Team Up For Wildlife'

BROOKSVILLE - 100 Acre Wood to hold 'Team Up For Wildlife' from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at the rehabilitation Center located at 99 Kohen Road, Brooksville.

The event is open to children ages 5 through teen.

The instructor will be Linda Christian, state licensed rehabilitator and the event will include a tour of the facility and its animal enclosures; a live birds of prey program; recycling; the hydro-cycle, testing for water quality; a snake encounter with live presentations and the opportunity to make bird houses, wooden fish pencil holder, glass art from recycled materials and palm fronds, and much more.

Preregistration is required and cost is $15 per person. Attendees will take home a free, live tree.

Make checks payable to 100 Acre Wood Wildlife, Inc., and mail them to 99 Kohen Road, Brooksville FL 34601.

100 Acre Wood Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc. is dedicated to the care, rescue and release of native wildlife.
