SPRING HILL - The fourth annual American Cancer Society Cattle Barons' Ball will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 6, at the Palace Grand, 275 Della Court, Spring Hill, on U.S. 19, 1/8 mile north of County Line Road.

The goal for this event is to raise money in support of Reaching Out to Cancer Kids (ROCK).

Cattle Barons' Ball tickets can be purchased at the door for $100 per person and can also be ordered by calling John Druzbick at 686-8979, Debbie Druzbick at Oak Hill Enrichment Center at 597-6331, or Kathy Vidal in Brooksville at 799-6000.

Music will be provided by Southern Exposure at this western party of western parties that also features great food, silent and live auctions.

The goal of this Gala is to raise $52,000 to support ROCK.

The American Cancer Society's Families ROCK weekend, established in 2000 is a fun, educational retreat for children with cancer and their families.

Parents have an opportunity to learn more about the disease from medical professionals in a casual setting, while their children participate in fun, educational programs and activities.

Also a part of this program is the ROCK College Scholarship Program, an award-winning college scholarship opportunity exclusively for students with a history of cancer.

The program gives young cancer survivors a chance to pursue an undergraduate degree from an accredited Florida university, community college, or vocational technical school.
